9/2 - 9/5

First blog post of senior year! This week, I was just kind f easing into things since school just started back up again and this week was short because of Labor Day. I started this week by reviewing my Layered Art Box from the end of last year to see where I left off. All I really need to do for that project is get the USB panel mount and then I can finish by assembling the project in wood. On Tuesday I ordered the panel mount, so I'm just waiting for that to come in.

On Tuesday, I decided to look for some small projects o do while I want for the panel mount. I decided on two things I saw on Pinterest that would be useful for me. One of them is a holder for clips and the other is a holder for keys since everyone in my house always misplaces their keys and complain about not being able to find them later. I started sketching them in my notebook on Tuesday and figuring out the measurements for it.

On Wednesday, I started designing the key holder in Fusion. It's a pretty simple design. The goal is for it to resemble an orange slice. I designed it to be 10 inches in length and 5 inches in height. I like the design of it right now but I might tweak it a little bit if it doesn't work out the way I want it to. I also sorted some new switches into the storage closet for Mr. Christy.

On Thursday, I continued working on the key holder. I also remembered that one of my friends' birthday is coming up soon, so I'll also find something to do for her after I finish designing the key holder and clip holder, depending on when I get the panel mount.
