5/19 - 5/23

This week, I finished my four-drawer organizer. I finished the design last week so all I had to do this week was cut out the pieces and glue them together. On Monday, I finished making all of the files in inkscape for the lasercutter. I redid the engravings on the sides of the box because the original design I chose wasn't working right with inkscape and the lasercutter.

On Tuesday, I got all of the pieces of my project cut out in wood and test assembled it using tape just to make sure it looked how wanted it too before gluing everything together. It took a while for me to get to use the lasercutter because it was being used for a while, so that's all I got done.

On Wednesday, I sanded and glued all of the pieces together. I'm not sure if I want to stain it or anything, so I'm done with the project for now. On Thursday, I spent my time looking for new project ideas. I don't want to do anything that will take too long, considering school's almost over.
