4/7 - 4/11

This week, I started a new project since I finished my mini lazy Susan last week and took it home. On Monday, I was looking online trying to find a new project to start. I remembered that Mother's Day is coming up soon and we'll be missing a week because of April break, so I decided to start the Mother's Day project now, because I wasn't sure how long it was going to take. For the project, I decided to do a lightbox. I chose to do a lightbox because when I brought my lightbox home earlier in the year, my mom liked it and mentioned wanting one, so I decided to make her one. On Tuesday, I sketched the box in my notebook and was brainstorming design ideas. I wanted the box part to be circular, so I think I'll just 3D print the box so that it's easier. I spent the rest of Tuesday and Wednesday working on the design in CAD. Once I got a rough idea of what it was going to look like, I started on the code on Thursday. I didn't get much of the code done because I had to go finish a project for my history class because it had to be in by the end of the day on Thursday and she wasn't letting us take it home. I was gone longer than expected, so I couldn't come back and finish working on the code or get any pictures. Next week I'll focus on getting the code done and create a circuit board if needed.
