This week I started working on a new project, since I finished my mirror project last week. My original design for the mirror was that the base layer would be in white acrylic. After I cut it out, I liked it, but I thought it would also look good with a clear acrylic base. I decided to just cut it out in clear too. I liked the way both of them looked, so I just cut out another set of heart mirrors and ended up making two mirrors, one with a white acrylic base and the other with a clear acrylic base.

When I took my lazy susan project home, someone asked me to make them one. This week, I started working on a smaller version of it for myself, because I decided I would just give them the original one because it turned out to be too large for my vanity. On Monday, I started designing the mini susan in Fusion. I was able to fully finish the design by Tuesday.

It's designed the same as the original, but just a bit smaller.
On Wednesday, I created all of the Inkscape files for the parts of the project to lasercut them. I also cut out all the parts in cardboard to test out the size and see if I like it.

On Thursday, I assembled the test model of the mini susan. The cardboard was too thick, so the walls didn't fit in the base how I wanted them too. I decided to just cut out the walls in wood and keep the base cardboard so that I can still test out the casters. The 3D printer was pretty busy on Wednesday and Thursday, so I didn't get the chance to print my casters. Next week, I'll just have to print the casters and cut everything out in wood and assemble the final product.
