This week, I started a new project. On Monday, I finished assembling all of the pieces of my lazy susan project and took it home with me. Someone asked me to make them one, so after this project, I might make another lazy susan, only a little bit smaller.

On Tuesday, I was trying to find ideas for a new project. I remembered that we had gotten a panel of red mirror when Mr. Christy and Mr. L ordered the clear and black acrylic when we were making the letter blocks for the giant word clock. I thought the red mirror looked really cool, so I wanted to try and make something with it. I found a design on the internet that I liked, so I decided to use that as kind of inspiration, but ad my own personalization to it. On Tuesday, I just sketched it out in my notebook and came up with a rough idea of the project.

It will be a mirror in the shape of a heart. The base layer will either be white or clear acrylic. I'm still thinking about which one I want to do. The second layer is the red mirror which is also a heart but is slightly smaller than the size of the base, so it will leave a rim of acrylic surrounding the heart. There are two other smaller hearts which are also red mirror, that are designed the same way as the larger heart. I haven't thought about how I will mount it on my wall, so I still have to do that.
On Wednesday, I started designing the project in Fusion. It took me a little while to figure out how to make the heart using the tools in Fusion and still make it look how I wanted it too. The shape of the heart kept turning out weird and not how I wanted it, so I had to redo it a couple of times.

On Thursday, I continued to work on the design in Fusion. I'm pretty much finished with the design, I just have to add the part that will allow me to hang it on my wall.
