This week, I continued working on my lazy susan project. On Monday, I finalized the design in CAD and made sure everything was ready to be cut. I also made the file to 3D print my casters and started making the files to cut out all of the parts with the laser cutter.
On Tuesday I 3D printed my casters and finished making all of the inkscape files for the rest of the parts of the project so that I could laser cut them.

On Wednesday, I tried to laser cut the walls of the project in cardboard, so that I could see if my idea was going to work. However, the thickness of the cardboard was different than the thickness of the wood I planned to use, so the design didn't work how I wanted it to. I decided to just laser cut the walls out in wood to make sure it worked. The design of the walls came out how I planned so I decided I would just laser cut the rest of it in wood the next day.

On Thursday, I spent my time laser cutting the parts for the lazy susan in wood and I got them all cut out. In total there are 8 circular layers and 3 walls. On Friday, I will try to assemble the design and get it rotating with the casters.
