On Monday, I was looking for birthday gift ideas because my sister's birthday is coming up next weekend. I couldn't think of any gifts to make her, so I decided to make and design her a card. We had gym on Monday, so I spent the last period looking online for some birthday cards jus to give myself an idea.

On Tuesday, we didn't have school because of Veteran's Day, so I didn't get anything done. I just painted the parts for my key holder while I was at home.

On Wednesday, I started the design of my sister's birthday card. I began designing it in Fusion because I plan to cut it out on this thicker paper with the lasercutter. I was able to get the base layer done and the second layer that has the piece that sort of unfolds to make a 3D box when you open the card. There will be more designs, but that was all I could get done before Mr. Christy came and gave Kim, Jaspreet, and I the first map out of the ten that he asked us to ass state and city labels to.

We started with the map on Wednesday by marking which parts/cities he wanted us to label. We also cut out the pieces of paper to the size we wanted each label to be and what we were putting on them.

On Thursday, Kim, Jaspreet and I continued with designing the labels for the map. I designed the label for Massachusetts, Kim designed the label for Medford, and Jaspreet designed the label for Worcester. We will also have one more label for the Quabbin Reservoir. I didn't finish coloring the leaves of the Massachusetts label because we were missing green markers, but I'll finish it on Friday.

On Thursday, I also brought in the parts for my key holder that I had painted. I put the key holder together to see how it looked, and I think it came out somewhat how I wanted it to. However, I didn't have enough time to glue all of the pieces together, but I'll probably do that next week.
