This week I had to take a break from the Layered art box because when we came back from vacation, I realized I needed one more piece. It was going to take about a week to arrive, so I started a simple project to make for my mom, since her birthday is coming up soon. I was absent on Monday, but started looking for project ideas on Tuesday. I found a picture frame that is clear and has a photo and flowers in it. On Wednesday I finished designing the frame in CAD and laser cut a test frame in cardboard.

Inside the frame are two pieces of acrylic that are right on top of each other. These pieces will be used to hold the photo and the flowers in place.
